Continuous Improvement The Council of the AusIMM should expedite the introduction of a continuous professional
education policy along the lines of that to be proposed to you by David Pollard today. The Education and Accreditation Committee must continually review the training needs of
the next generations of mining industry professionals. It should continue to demand and
encourage the creation of the schools for the training of such people. The AusIMM could
even put greater onus upon university researchers to accredit university post graduate
degrees.
