The subject `access to land' is often seen as an item high on the
list of matters of concern to mining interests not only in New
South Wales but throughout the whole of Australia and other
countries. Just what are the problems/issues of access to lands today?
What is being done about them? What can be achieved? What is
practical to achieve? And where does New South Wales sit in
relation to all this? These and a range of other issues are addressed in this paper.
