The Search for Profitability with Large Low Grade Alluvials
This paper sets out to discuss how alluvials - particularly mineral sands,
tin and gold have adjusted to meet the problems of lower grade and more
difficult physical political and economic conditions. The mineral sands industry
seems to have adapted satisfactorily but less so with tin and
gold.
