This paper describes MIM's experience in arranging and executing project financings for coal projects at Oaky Creek and Newlands and Collinsville and the port facility of Abbot Point._x000D_
The financings had their origins in the late 1970's and culminated with the opening of these projects during 1983 and 1984._x000D_
MIM's financing developments therefore span an important period in the development of resource projects in Australia._x000D_
Resources projects have been growing in both scale and complexity of financing requirements.
