Continuum Modelling of Granular Rocks in High Pressure Crushers
In a high pressure rolls crusher two force components: the pressurising
thrust and the rolling force can be measured experimentally. Computer
analyses have revealed regular patterns of stress distribution in the
confined material between the rollers. Based on the computer analyses
and experimental results a one-dimensional comminution model has been
developed.
