Computer-Aided Geomechanics
The purpose, basic data requirements and various analysis/modelling tools employed for geomechanical evaluation of mine-site conditions are overviewed. The impact and application of computer technology are dis- cussed. Broad guidelines and criteria are presented for establishment of a practical geomechanics data-base system to yield infor- mation suitable for mine design purposes._x000D_
