Continuous Pressure Filtration Aspects of Design and Development Trends from the Point of View of Mechanical Engineering
The first continuous pressure disk filter took up industrial-scale operation in Germany in 1976. This paper comments on major components of pressure filter facilities from the point of view of industrial-plant suppliers. For lack of time aspects of economy have not been commented upon. The paper elucidates a number of process-engineering inter-relations. It outlines important development trends from the angle of a machine-building company.
