Evolution of the concept of the liberation factor and a surprising new result
After a review of the progresses made on the liberation factor theory since its inception by Gy (1982), a new and surprising result of great practical importance is presented: the liberation factor. First introduced simply as a number between 0 and 1, then shown to be the ratio of two variances, is now shown to be well approximated by the proportion of liberated mineral.CITATION:Franois-Bongaron, D, 2017._x000D_
