Intelligent coal mining technology development and prospect in China
Coal is the main energy source in China, and the continuous innovation of coal mining theory, technology and equipment had supported the rapid development of Chinas coal industry. Compared to 1978, Chinas raw coal output had increased from 0.62 billion tons to 3.68 billion tons, death rate per million tons of coal mines had decreased from 9.713 to 0.093, and the number of coal mines had decreased from more than 80000 to 5800. The scientific capacity of coal mine had been steadily improved, and the Chinas coal industry is gradually entering the orbit of high-quality development. According to the development status of Chinas coal resources, the development direction of Chinas coal industry is to achieve safe-efficient-green mining and clean-efficient utilization by scientific and technological progress. The coal mine intellectualization is the core supporting technology of high-quality development of coal industry. The intelligent unmanned working face is the key task of coal mine intellectualization. The occurrence conditions of coal seam in China are complex and diverse, and have been mined in high-risk ways such as manual mining and blasting mining for a long time, resulting in low production efficiency and high casualty rate. After years of technological breakthroughs and innovations, intelligent mining mode with Chinese coal seam occurrence characteristics has been developed.
