The Knelson Concentrator Applications in Australia
The Knelson Concentrator is a centrifugal gold concentrator developed in Canada, which utilises the combination of high gravitational ("G") forces and a unique fluidising action to efficiently recover free gold particles from minus 6 mm to fine micron gold in both alluvial and hardrock applications._x000D_
Operating parameters including water requirements, fluidising pressures and feed rates are given, as well as an indication of their various effects on gold recovery._x000D_
Results include a Colorado School of Mines Research Institute (CSMRI) report comparing the Knelson concentrator with various other gravity concentrators.
