Iron Ore 2011

Add to cart
The last decade has seen unprecedented iron ore price increases and growth in
the industry despite the recent global financial crisis. Demand for iron ore
continues to grow, particularly from China's iron and steel industry. Hence, the
fifth instalment in this popular conference series had as its theme Meeting
Growing Demand'. The 80+ papers in Iron Ore 2011 look at exploration,
geostatistics and ore reserve estimation, ore characterisation, mining,
processing and project development. Areas covered include developments in
Duisburg, Germany, China, the Mesabi Iron Range in the USA, West Africa, Japan
and Western Australia.
