This paper gives a first-hand account of what a graduate mining engineer can learn by visiting Atlas Copco in Sweden and gives reasons why all mining engineering students should apply for this excellent scholarship. It will also (attempt to) refute the author's mine manager's claim that the trip was a huge junket._x000D_
