Exploration for sedimentary-hosted carbonate base metal mineralisation at Manuka, Winduck Shelf, Darling/Cobar Basin, NSW Australia
The Manuka Au-Pb-Zn deposit (formerly Wonawinta) is located in central New South Wales approximately 85 km south of Cobar (Figure 1). The deposit was discovered by Geopeko in the early 1990s by follow up sampling of stream sediment anomalies. Mining of oxide silver mineralisation occurred from 2012 to 2014, processing a total of 1.1 Mt ore for 2.1 Moz Ag metal. CITATION: Lally, J, Lindsay, N, Prendergast, K and Vigar, A, 2019.
