Aspects of Simulating Iron Ore Induration
The need for and advantages of simulators in iron ore pellet induration research are described. The approaches to simulation and the techniques to carry it out are discussed in detail covering drying and firing for the straight grate process. The CSIRO simulator design is described and some errors in simulation are discussed.
