Second Australasian Ground Control in Mining Conference 2010

Add to cart
The papers in this volume discuss current challenges and share best practice
between the coal and hard rock sectors of the Ground Control industry, in both
Australasia and overseas. The proceedings has a particular focus on new
technologies and developments, industry needs and mine site problem solving, and
practical case studies.
Some of the other themes discussed include ground support systems and design,
challenges in extreme mining environments, geotechnical risk management, best
practice case studies, numerical modelling; managing large deformations and
dynamic environments, geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring, and
geotechnical education and training.
