6th Mill Operators' Conference

Add to cart
The 1997 Mill Operator's conference is the latest in a series of conferences that commenced in Mount Isa in 1978 and has since been held in Mount Isa (1982) Cobar (1988) Burnie(1991) Roxby Downs (1994) before its latest setting. The book is divided into four sections: Plant Practice; Developments in Milling Practice; Developments in Flotation Practice; and Innovations in Mineral Processing. Each contains technical papers outlining experiences at a number of operations in both PNG and Australia. The choice of PNG as a venue for this conference reflects the increasing maturity of the country's mining industry with a number of major operational mines and thousands of min or mining and concentrating operations.
