Pressurized Grouting of a Deep Diamond Drill Hole by Broken Hill South Ltd.
The problem of sealing a fluid serieite zone at a hole depth of 4000 ft was overcome by using a composite non-return valve plug and rod assembly which enabled cement to be forced under pressure into the zone
