Prof. Geoff Brooks
Swinburne University of Technology
Geoff has been researching fundamentals aspects of pyrometallurgy since 1989.
He has held academic positions at the University of Wollongong, McMaster University and since 2006 at Swinburne University of Technology. Geoff has worked with many metallurgical companies including Tata, Umicore, Nippon Steel, Dofasco, Stelco, Krakatau Steel, Nucor, Bluescope, Western Mining and Liberty, and has published over 250 papers.
Geoff and his colleagues have won awards from the AIST, TMS, ASM, IOM3 and Canadian MetSoc.
