We are excited to announce Dr Penny Stewart, CEO of PETRA Data Science will be a Keynote presenter at the Open Pit Operators Conference in 2021.

Dr Stewart will be presenting on The application of digital twin machine learning models for mine to mill, and pit-to-plant optimisation at the conference in July next year.

Penny is a mining engineer and the founder and CEO of mining AI software company PETRA Data Science. Penny worked on mine sites for five years before obtaining her Queensland 1st Class Mine Managers’ Certificate of Competency. It was during her time working in the underground and open pit mines of WA and Tasmania that she learnt how geological uncertainty affects our ability to mine to plan.

Meet Katherin Domansky | Keynote Speaker for #MillOps2024

Katherin Domansky is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy and resources sector, having held senior roles at global companies like Shell, BHP, and Woodside. Renowned for her expertise in negotiating complex energy projects, she possesses a comprehensive understanding of the energy value chain and the challenges of energy transition. Domansky is currently a director at Synergy, a member of the steering committee for the Net Zero Australia project, and a board member of the Curtin Institute of Energy Transition. She will be the keynote speaker at AusIMM's 16th Mill Operators Conference 2024 in Perth this October, focusing on the intersection of energy transition to net zero within plant processing.
