This course has been helpful. I have done JORC course and now doing VALMIN, so there have been times that I can think across both Codes and learn from last course and this one. Presentations have been clear and insightful; enjoy the resources/documents; can also put what I'm learning now into work context right away. Congratulations to the presenters, organisers and participants, this is a well organised training course that is/has been helpful to me and my work.

2024 course participant

The insight gained in the VALMIN code reporting is so useful for everyday technical reporting even if one is not producing a VALMIN compliant report.

2024 course participant

I found the course to be well structured. Key speakers organised by AusIMM for the course were highly experienced. The anecdotes shared by the presenters were interesting and emphasises the importance of Valmin code for producing fair transparent assessment and valuation reports.

2024 course participant

“The course has provided a great consolidation of the key aspects and importance of the VALMIN Code. I have already applied the VALMIN code as a Practitioner so found the course very useful in consolidating my understanding and reinforcing certain elements.”

Participant of February 2021 intake

“The course was very enlightening. I am now much more aware of the traps that you could fall into when signing off on the associated reports attached to the VALMIN Code."

Participant of February 2021 intake

“It was great! I have already used some of the VALMIN principles when discussing with clients, and now know 'what not to say', and 'when to disclose'. This will help me enormously in the years to come. Thank you for a great course."
